How Montagne Noire Web Studio collects, uses and protects your personal data.

Last updated: October 2026

1. Data controller

Data collected through this site is processed by:

Geoffrey Le Meur EI - Montagne Noire Web Studio

E-mail: info@montagnenoirewebstudio.com

2. Data collected and purposes

Contact and audit request forms

When you use the contact form or the free audit request form, we collect the information you enter: name, e-mail address, message and, depending on the form, phone number, company name, website address and how you heard about us.

This data is used solely to respond to your request and, if you agreed to it, to inform you about our products and services. It is never sold or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes, and is kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted within a maximum of 3 years.

The forms are processed through Netlify Forms, a service provided by Netlify, Inc. (512 2nd Street, Fl 2, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States). Netlify acts as a data processor and handles submitted data in accordance with its privacy policy, available at netlify.com. Data is hosted on servers located in the United States, under appropriate safeguards within the meaning of the GDPR.

Legal basis: consent (form checkbox).

Appointment booking (Calendly)

The site offers a link to the Calendly platform to schedule a video call. This link takes you to the Calendly website: you then leave this site and enter Calendly’s environment, which is subject to its own privacy policy, available at calendly.com.

No data entered on Calendly is collected by or accessible to this site.

Embedded videos (Mux)

Some pages of the site embed videos through the Mux player (Mux, Inc., United States) in an iframe. When a video plays, Mux collects non-identifying technical data to measure streaming quality:

  • IP address: used to determine an approximate location (country, region) and detect bots, then pseudonymized by truncation before being stored.
  • Device information: model, device type, operating system and browser.
  • Viewer ID: a random identifier, not linked to your identity or to any advertising profile.
  • Playback data: video watched, format, autoplay status, etc.

Mux does not collect your name, e-mail address or advertising identifier, and does not use this data for advertising. Pseudonymized data is kept for up to 100 days, then deleted. Mux is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which governs the transfer of this data to the United States.

More information is available in Mux’s privacy policy at mux.com. You can request the erasure of your data directly from Mux: gdpr@mux.com.

Audience measurement (Umami Analytics)

This site uses Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Umami does not set any cookies, does not collect any personally identifiable data and does not pass any information on to third parties.

The data collected (pages viewed, device type, country of connection) is fully anonymized and aggregated. Umami is GDPR-compliant by design: no specific consent is required for this audience measurement.

3. Cookies

This site does not set any advertising or tracking cookies. The Umami analytics tool works without cookies.

The Mux video player mentioned above stores a single item in your browser’s local storage: your sound preference (whether the video is muted or not). This data is used only to make the player work, cannot identify or track you, and therefore does not require consent.

You can delete it at any time from your browser settings.

4. Data recipients

Data submitted through the forms is only accessible to Geoffrey Le Meur - Montagne Noire Web Studio. It is not shared with any commercial third party.

5. Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679), you have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Right of access: obtain a copy of the data concerning you.
  • Right to rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure: request the deletion of your data.
  • Right to restriction: request the temporary suspension of processing.
  • Right to object: object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, readable format.
  • Right to withdraw consent: at any time, for processing based on consent.

To exercise these rights, contact us at: info@montagnenoirewebstudio.com

We have one month to respond to your request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority): cnil.fr.

6. Data Protection Officer (DPO)

Under Article 37 of the GDPR, appointing a data protection officer is only mandatory in three cases: public authorities and bodies, organizations whose core activities involve regular and systematic monitoring of individuals on a large scale, and organizations processing sensitive data on a large scale.

Montagne Noire Web Studio is a sole proprietorship. Its activity does not involve systematic large-scale monitoring of individuals and does not concern sensitive data within the meaning of the GDPR. Appointing a DPO is therefore not mandatory for this business.

Geoffrey Le Meur is directly responsible for the processing of personal data and remains the point of contact for any data protection request: info@montagnenoirewebstudio.com

7. Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time, in particular following regulatory changes or changes to the tools used. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
